Bed sizes can be a very confusing subject with queen size beds, king size beds, prince beds and super king size beds and many others confusing the issue. The best way to understand all the different variations is to look at the mattress size. For instance if a bed is a 4'6" bed that means the mattress is 4'6". If a bed is a 5'0" king size bed that means that the mattress is a 5'0" king size mattress. In short the mattress size determines the size of the bed. 

Libby's Tips: With the exception of the Parisienne bed all Revival beds can be supplied as a headboard only. The best way to secure these is by using picture brackets to screw them to the wall. The Orleans Louis style bed is nice and tall and makes an excellent headboard. Often guest rooms aren’t so big and can’t fit a king size bed comfortably so a headboard is an easy alterative and the Orleans headboard along with a double divan makes an excellent guest bed.
