Inspiration and choice

It does however mean you arrive at your final decision much easier and much quicker. Look for new ideas in magazines and books, movies, shops, restaurants and other peoples' homes. And remember to enjoy yourself, colour is fun!

The history behind the Mackintosh bed suggests that it ought to be an oak bed as that was the wood of choice during the Arts & Crafts period, so it seems as if a Pale Oak wax finish or a Mellow Brown wax finish would be most appropriate.
